The Weir Archer Academy officially opened their new purpose built roller training facility this week – inspired by David and Jenny and through hard work of all the members at the academy it is a fantastic venue for athletes to train on rollers from grass routes to the elite, helping to further grow the sport of wheelchair racing.
ITV News were there to report and catch the action and as you can see from the below our rollers are well featured, in fact the whole room is fully kitted out with Invictus Active Trackside Rollers! We are proud to be associated with Weir Archer for a number of years now and that our roller continue to be the first choice of all their athletes, including David himself.
Six-time Paralympic champion @DavidWeir2012 is going for gold in Tokyo. But he still has his eyes on prizes for others. His @WeirArcher Academy trains and inspires a younger generation – and has just got bigger and better, as @RagsMartel reports. pic.twitter.com/x0metkqabL
