Not only can you get to more places, you will also enjoy a more comfortable ride and have to exert less force to push yourself over any kind of terrain. This unique combination really does transform a standard wheelchair quickly and easily into an all-terrain vehicle. That means that you can use your normal wheelchair that you feel comfortable in, for some off-road adventure.
The FreeWheel bag is ideal for protecting your car from a muddy FreeWheel while travelling! On one side of the bag is printed the Invictus Active logo, while on the other is put the FreeWheel logo. To ensure a more secure hold when carrying, the bag also incorporates a carry handle with a strap. The padded shoulder strap is similarly designed to keep it comfortable while being carried.
The FreeWheel and the all-terrain wheels fit easily into the boot of a standard car, and when you reach your chosen destination it just takes a couple of minutes to attach them, so you can enjoy unlimited freedom. The FreeWheel lifts your castors off the ground so you will no longer be getting stuck in ruts or suffering bumps and discomfort as you push over rocks and holes. The off-road wheels have 36 stainless steel spokes and heavy-duty tyres, so they can take whatever beating you want to give them. Additionally, they have the special K-guard protection which prevents punctures and can give you the confidence and security to venture farther afield and over rougher, more challenging terrains.
The tyres which come on these 24-inch off road wheelchair wheels have high-quality 50
EPI carcasses – meaning they will take some serious strain and be near impossible to puncture.
The tyres are clever, they have large outer lugs to improve grip on the off road rough terrain, but maintain a
central rib section to decrease resistance to rolling – so it is still possible to push without being too hard.
These tyres feature K guard puncture protection. This is a protective layer of natural rubber
which is reinforced with Kevlar® fibres. That means that you can ride with confidence anywhere.
