The ICON A1 wheelchair UK offers a smoother more pleasant ride. Vibrations are effectively absorbed by the incorporated air suspension system which means less stress on the whole body of the user. This feature reduces the risk of secondary injuries and increases user comfort. You can customise the suspension so that it is perfect for your exact weight. Tuning the rebound and compression can further help to reduce fatigue. There is also a lock-out option for situations where suspension is not required. This turns off the return to convert the chair into a rigid one.
With many customisable adjustments this chair can be tailored to your changing needs. Adjustable caster arms allow you to alter the front centre of gravity and the adjustable height lets you use with 3, 4 or 5 -inch casters. The telescopic frame allows personalised adjustment for different height users, and the fully adjustable backrest allows such a range of adjustments that this chair can fit both children and adults.
