The strong, sleek aluminium frame of the Ki Mobility Tsunami ALX sets it apart from other low-cost wheelchairs. With 7000 1 3/8 inch aluminium tubing its rigid frame is twenty percent stronger and stiffer than the competitors. This tubing makes the chair lightweight as well as offering vibration dampening qualities and excellent rigidity.
The Tsunami’s distinctive caster housing is made of precision-machined aluminium. This makes them incredibly strong as well as visually pleasing with their unique symmetry. Additionally, the design increases the durability and responsiveness of the chair.
The Crescent CG system provides infinite adjustability without cluttering up the side frame. You can position the CG wherever you want to along the side frame, where it will not interfere with the backrest or the seating system. This makes finding your most comfortable position easy.
The Tubular Component System (TCS) of the Ki Mobility Tsunami ALX allows individual seat height setting without unnecessary extra hardware. You can adjust the seat height in 1/4inch increments to get your ideal position. Also, the tubes increase the lateral stiffness to create a stiffer and more responsive ride.
You can also adjust the footplate quickly and easily with just one tool. Just loosen the screw, adjust to your preferred position and retighten.
Most low-cost wheelchairs do not offer many options, but that’s not the case with the Ki Mobility Tsunami ALX. You can choose from four frame types, eight backrests, and four upholstery options. The armrests come in six styles and the footplates in seven. Handrims are available in eleven different styles, and there are seven wheel lock options. You can choose from two axle types, seven casters, and six different forks. There are eight choices of pelvic positioning belts as well as many other accessories.
There are eleven colours with a gloss finish and nine with a matt one to choose from. Additionally, there are fifteen fun hydrographic to make your chair uniquely yours.

There are three wheel options available, Maxx Performance spoke, Mag, and SpinerySpox with eleven choices of tyres. The Max Performance is a lightweight wheel with eighteen straight 6061 series aluminium radial spokes with a hard-wearing black matt finish. These, along with the high flange hub give this wheel increased rigidity for a more responsive performance. The X-Core™ mags are lightweight, just 1lb more than spokes, and have an ultra-sleek look. Also, they offer greater stiffness and rigidity than other mags.
