The patented adjustable castor link is stronger and lighter than traditional castor links. Made of one hollow-forged component, this innovative design allows you to adjust both the height and the angle of the castor. This improves the handling of the chair. Additionally, the castor link length is customized to your needs so increasing the turning, handling, and propulsion efficiency of the Nitro.
A patented twist-to-lock folding backrest makes the Nitro effortless to move. Furthermore, you can operate the twist-lock bar with one hand. The unique double-locking feature of this ergonomic handle also allows you to use the same bar to lift the chair.
For easier car transfers, after removing the rear wheels it is completely open under the frame and weighs just 4.7kg. This makes it easy to pass the chair with just one hand across and nearer to your body. Additionally, ergonomic grab bars with rubber grip pads on the cross tube and backrest increase your balance and grip to reduce effort and strain
