The FreeWheel attachment made a TV appearance this weekend on the prime time Sunday evening BBC Countryfile programme – helping presenter Simon Brown access Sherwood Forest country park using his own everyday manual wheelchair.

Simon was using the wheelchair wheel on Countryfile which works by clipping onto the footrest of his wheelchair and then enables you to lift the caster wheels off the floor – this in turn then means he can easily push over the rough terrain across the forest while presenting.

Countryfile is regularly in the top 20 most viewed programmes in the UK getting over 5 million viewers on a Sunday night – it’s great to see this superb wheelchair attachment in action and proving again to be the first choice for a wheelchair user when looking to get off terrain.

The FreeWheel is available to buy and fits most wheelchairs – find out more here.
